Preparation and application of photo luminescence ceramic glaze

The photoluminescent pigments can be directly used to make photoluminescent ceramic glaze. The following content provides some information on the preparation methods of photoluminescent ceramic glaze for reference.

1.The basic normal transparent ceramic glaze. The glaze should be ground thin and pass through 250 mesh sieve.
2.The photo-emissive pigment and the ceramic glaze were mixed in the ratio of 4:6 to make the luminous ceramic glaze.
3.During production, avoid contact between the luminescent pigment and metal materials, as it may affect the luminescence effect.
The Use of Ceramic Glazed Enamel
1. Luminous glaze on the surface of interior brick walls
(1) The glaze of pottery was mixed with water in the ratio of 1:0.The mixture with a ratio of 6:0.7 is blended for approximately 20 minutes in a ball mill to produce the glaze.
(2) Glaze layer of 200-400μm is formed on the pottery body by glaze laying, glaze pouring and glaze dripping.
(3) Drying.
(4) The glazed tiles for interior walls can be produced by rapid baking at 1000-1080℃ for 35-50 minutes.

2. Nightlight tiles (see attached image)
(1) The night glaze of pottery is mixed with appropriate screen printing oil to form a screen printing paste.
(2) On the white un-fired glazed tiles, the luminous glaze is printed with a grid to form a luminous pattern.
(3) Pour transparent glass over the pattern surface.
(4) The tiles with luminous patterns can be obtained by baking at 1100-1180℃ for 35-45 minutes.

3. Luminous interior wall tiles (three-burner firing)
(1) Mix the glaze with appropriate screen printing oil to prepare screen printing paste.
(2) Printing luminous patterns on the surface of sintered bricks with white glaze.
(3) The transparent dry glaze powder is piled on the night glow pattern with mesh.
(4) Bake at 900-1000°C for 40-45 minutes to create raised patterns on the bricks for interior wall decoration.
pay attention to :
1. Avoid friction between the luminous glaze and metal, as it may impair the luminescence effect.
2. If there is sediment in the glaze, add 2% of Pengrun soil to improve its suspension.
3. Prioritize the use of transparent glaze produced by our company.

For use in luminous porcelain glaze
Application of luminescent porcelain glaze: The ideal method involves applying luminescent dye to the baked white glaze to create luminous patterns, following the same baking technique as traditional white porcelain.
1. Mix the porcelain enamel dye with water in a ratio of 1:0.The 5-0.6 ratio is mixed on the grinder for 5-6 minutes to form the glaze slurry.
2. Apply the luminescent dye to the baked white glaze to create patterns.The luminous intensity is 400-500um;
3. Let it dry.
3. Bake at 800-850°C for 2-4 minutes to obtain the luminescent porcelain product.
4. To achieve a smooth finish, we can apply a thin layer of transparent glaze over the luminous glaze.
5. We can also blend the glaze dye with the grid printing ink to create luminous patterns using the grid printing technique.
