Concept and characteristics of luminous fiber

Luminous fiber, also known as rare earth luminescent fiber, refers to rare earth luminescent materials as light source.
High-tech fiber with automatic light absorption-light storage-light emission performance at night made by special spinning process. The fiber has excellent performance of emitting light at night. As long as it absorbs any visible light for 10min, it can be excited to store the absorbed light energy in the fiber, and it can continue to emit light for more than 10 hours in the absence of light or darkness, and can be recycled indefinitely. In general, luminous fiber can present rich and colorful colors under the condition of illumination, because of adding various pigments, but under the condition of no visible illumination, the fiber itself can also emit various colors of light, such as green light, yellow light and blue light.
At present, the development and utilization of luminous fiber is not only the need to cope with the situation of resource shortage in China, but also the urgent need to realize energy saving and emission reduction, achieve the goal of “double carbon” in China and realize the sustainable development of chemical fiber industry.
